With a deep passion for helping people feel better, Tameika loves coming into work every day knowing she will be making a positive difference in her patient’s lives.
Tameika began her academic earning her Bachelor’s in Health Science Education and later her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida. She practiced law for several years before returning to her studies to her passions of science and health. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Florida Atlantic University and enjoyed several fulfilling years at the bedside in various specialties such as neurological progressive care, sub-acute cardiac units, and cosmetic post-operative care. Tameika obtained her Master of Science in Nursing with the primary purpose of entering the Cosmetic Dermatology field. She graduated from the University of Cincinnati and holds a national certification with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Tameika in internationally trained in injectables and offers her cosmetic patients a unique combination of experience, knowledge, and personal attention. She was immersed into the aesthetic and cosmetology industry from a very young age and has merged that experience, artistry, and skill to her career as a nurse practitioner trained and certified in many areas of cosmetic dermatology and aesthetics. She credits her critical thinking skills and experience in the hair and beauty industry for her artistic eye and ability to create symmetry and balance during her patients’ treatments. She enjoys listening to her patient’s needs and enhancing a person’s beautiful features, allowing them to age gracefully and confidently while maintaining a natural look.
In addition to providing aesthetic needs to her patients, she is a mentor, legal nurse consultant and instructor. One area of speciality is teaching aesthetic medical providers on the legal implications of practicing as aesthetic injector.
